CAUTION

■ This product has been designed for competition use only and is not to be used on any public roads.
■ The original safety standards of the vehicle will change which will make it illegal to be used on public roads.
■ This product is to be fitted by an experienced professional in a fully equipped workshop.
■ This product is to be fitted with the correct tools, protective & safety equipement. Failure to do so can lead
  to possible work hazards.
■ Refer to the vehicles original workshop service manual when disassembling the engine
■ This product was designed specifically for the engine specified. If the attempt was made to use this
  product(s) on another engine other than specified then you will risk of damaging the related parts in
this kit and/or the engine that it is used with.
■ This product is to be installed when the engine and engine bay is cold.
■ Do not use excessive force when removing and installing parts. As this may cause damage to the parts and
related components.
■ Check for any signs of oil leaks before starting the engine. It is a potential fire hazard risk if there are any

oil leaks.

KIT CONTENTS

REQUIRED TOOLS

The following tools are required for installation.

・General Engine Maintenance Tools ・Torque Wrench ・Silicone Liquid Gasket

OIL THERMO KILLER (1)

The kit should come with the items listed here with
the QTY listed in brackets ().

1. Remove the stock Oil Thermostat.
※ Have a pan ready to catch the oil that will drain from the line when you remove the stock part.
2. Clean the threaded portion of the plug for the Tomei Oil Thermo Killer.
3. Apply the appropriate amount of Liquid Silicone Gasket to the threaded portion of the Tomei Oil
Thermo Killer.
4. Tighten to 54±5 N・m with a Torque Wrench.

CAUTION

1. Check the quantity of engine oil before starting the engine.
  Top up the oil or change it if the amount is unsufficient.
2. Check the engine oil pressure. If the Oil does not seem to be circulating, inspect everything that
  is advised to check as noted in the workshop service manual.
3. After starting the engine, check for any signs of oil leaks.
  Take extra care about oil leaks as it is a potential fire hazard risk.
4. Installing a oil temperature & oil pressure gauge is recommended before driving.
  This will greatly aid with understanding the engines condition to help extend the engines life and
  prevent terminal engine failure.
