Thank you for purchasing another quality TOMEI product.
This product is an essential part for high power and engine speed applications. It is required to also use
cams with larger profiles and cam lift with oversized valves to increase flow into the combustion chamber.
To optimize the Valves following the camshaft the Valve springs will need to be upgraded to a stronger type
as well. This will help the Valve Train cope with the dynamics of the increased mass and of the tuned engine
to cope with high engine speeds. The increased sizes in the Valve train can increase the chances of valve
jump and bounce. The Tomei Valve Retainers are made from Titanium for increased weight reduction and
increased strength, reliability to hold the Valve Springs in place with precision. This helps with increased
response with the smoother fluid valve movements.
