Follow the instructions in

2.

Remove the bottom of the base assembly (see

3.

Remove the hard drive (see

).


 

4.

Remove the WLAN card (see

).


 

5.

Remove the fan (see

Removing the Fan

).


 

6.

Replace the processor heat sink (see

7.

Remove the hinge cover (see

).


 

8.

Remove the keyboard (see

).


 

9.

Remove the display assembly (see

10.

Remove the optical drive (see

11.

Remove the palm rest (see

).


 

12.

Remove the two M2 x 3-mm screws that secure the touch pad cover and remove it.

 

13.

Carefully remove the cable assembly from the cable guides.

 

14.

Remove the four M2 x 3-mm screws that secure each of the right and left speaker assemblies to the base of the computer.

 

15.

Remove the speaker assembly.
