7 Install the memory module:
HINT: If the memory
module is not installed
properly, the computer
will not boot. No error
message indicates this
failure.
a Align the notch in the module with the slot in the center of the
socket.
b Slide the edge of the module firmly into the socket, and rotate the
module down until you hear a click.
NOTICE: If you need to install memory modules in two sockets, install a
memory module in the socket labeled “JDIM (DIMMA)” before you install a
module in the socket labeled “JDIM2 (DIMMB).”
8 Replace the cover and screw.
