Removing the Top Cover
1.
Follow the instructions in
Before You Begin
.
2.
Remove the computer cover (see
Removing the Computer Cover
).
3.
Remove the front bezel (see
Removing the Front Bezel
).
4.
Remove the optical drive (see
Removing the Optical Drive
).
5.
Pull the release tab, and slide the top cover towards the front of the computer to release the top cover tabs from the slots on the top panel.
6.
Pull the top cover away from the top panel.
7.
Set the top cover aside in a secure location.
Replacing the Top Cover
1.

2.
Align the tabs in the top cover with the slots in the top panel.

removed.
