Removing the Coin-Cell Battery
1. Follow the instructions in Before Working Inside Your Computer .
2. Remove the hinge cover. See Removing the Hinge Cover .
3. Remove the keyboard. See Removing the Keyboard .
4. Disconnect the coin-cell battery cable from the system board connector.
5. Remove the cable from the routing guides and lift the coin-cell battery from the computer.
Replacing the Coin-Cell Battery
1. Connect the cable to the system board connector.
2. Route the cable through the channel and press the coin-cell battery into place.
