3. Align the holes of the inner-slide rails with the holes on the side of the bridge
(see Figure 1-3).
You must press the manifold and bridge together, compressing the gasket, to get
the holes in the inner-slide rails and bridge to align.

4. Use four 6-32 x 1/4-inch screws to mount the inner-slide rails to the bridge.

To install the outer slide in the rack, perform the following steps:
1. Align the holes of the stationary and adjustable brackets with the holes in the
rack.
The stationary brackets attach to the front of the rack. The adjustable brackets
attach to the rear. The top hole of each bracket must align with top hole of an
Electronic Industry Association (EIA) unit in the rack. The top hole of an EIA unit
has a dot next to it (see Figure 1-4).
NOTE: The slides must be mounted within 1 EIA unit. The height of the bridge
takes up 1 EIA unit.
