5.2.3.1 Examples for numerical Teach-in:

1) An “ON” threshold shall be set at 130mm distance (B) -> (characteristic 1).

Setting the switching function:
Switching- / Teach function: 0

Point A absolute in tenth of mm:

65535

 FFFF hex (= Switching point A)

(Must be set to 65535 since only one switching point required)
Point B absolute in tenth of mm:

1300

 0514 hex (= Switching point B)

Parameter to be written:
Switching points work:

2) An “OFF” threshold shall be set at 70mm distance (A) -> (characteristic 2).
