New message indicator
When there are new messages on the answering system, the number
of new messages and the icon flash, and XX NEW MESSAGE
shows on the screen of the telephone base; the icon flashes and
XX NEW MESSAGE displays on the screen of the cordless handsets.
Play the current outgoing announcement
When the answering system answers a call, the pre-recorded outgoing
announcement is played to the caller unless you have recorded your
own outgoing announcement.
Record outgoing announcement
Using a cordless handset
1. Press

2. Press or to select ANS SYSTEM and then press .
3. Press or to select ANNOUNCEMENT and then press .
4. Press or to select RECORD OGA and then press .
5. After a beep sounds, speak into the handset as you would normally
during a call while recording your OGA (2 minutes maximum).
6. Press when finished. The system will then play back the
recorded message.
