You can change the function assigned to the control ring. By performing
operations with the control ring, you can enjoy the feeling of using a fully
manual camera.
Assign a function to the Ï ring.
● Press the ring function selector button.
● Press the ring function selector button, the
qr buttons, or turn the Ï ring or Ê dial to
choose an option.
● Press the m button to make the setting.
Adjust the settings.
● Turn the Ï ring or the Ê dial to adjust the
settings of the assigned functions.
● You can switch between the two functions
assigned to the
Ê dial (p. 102), such as
the aperture value and shutter speed when
is selected, by pressing the o button.
