Shutting
Down the
ProteinChip
SELDI Reader To shut down the reader and turn off the power, first stop data collection, if
necessary, by clicking on the Stop Run (
) button on the toolbar, then select
Instrument Shutdown from the Instrument menu. Wait for the System Active
light on the lower right side of the reader to go out. It is then safe to shut off
power to the reader.

1. Shut down the reader by choosing Instrument Shutdown from the
Instrument menu.
