Hardware Overview
The S3 biosafety system comprises three components (Figures 2 and 3):
■ n
HEPA air generator — fan system will filter air drawn into the system and evacuate filtered
air into room or house ventilation system
■ n
Enclosure — composed of polycarbonate top and vinyl side panels magnetically attached
to frame
■ n
Base floor — solid base made of high density polyethylene
