Install Monitor Console
65. Select one of new:
253016 LOUP 2 CHANNEL SHAFT MONITOR
253017 LOUP 3 CHANNEL SHAFT MONITOR
Determine a suitable location for the console in the
tractor cab. If the cab tends to be quiet in field
operations, the console only needs to be within
reach, as the alarm tone suffices when the indicator
lamps are not in view.
Avoid placing the console where it interferes with the
view of public roads or blocks the view of important
components of towed implements.
The location needs to be suitable for attaching the
included mount
. The necessary

inch fasteners
are not provided in the kits, are requirements vary
considerably. You may even want to attach the mount
to any existing mount.
The mount
may be removed and used as a drill
template.
66. Route the power leads
to a 12 volt DC source.
Red is positive.
Black is ground.
The console includes its own power switch, and does
not need to be connected to a switched 12Vdc
source.
67. Make a note in the “Hitching” section of your
Operator manual. Add “Shaft Monitor” to the
checklist of electrical connections to be made.
68. Route the harness lead
out of the cab, to the hitch.
When the drill is hitched, connect the console
harness leads to the extension cable (
the drill.
