5. If the drill is to be transported for more than a short dis-
tance, the lock out hub on the center drill box, Fig. 6,
should be disengaged to prevent excessive wear to the
drive system.
TRANSPORTING
1. To prevent possible damage in case of hydraulic fail-
ure between the tractor and the drill during transport,
there is a transport lock valve, Fig. 10, mounted on the
base end of the master cylinder on the center box. This al-
lows you to turn the hydraulic oil off from your lift cylinder
when in the raised position.
CAUTION!
THIS DRILL SHOULD NEVER BE PULLED FASTER THAN 20 MILES PER HOUR!

2. Make sure that
BOTH
wing box transport locks,
Fig. 11, are securely locked into the wing lock saddles,
located at the front and rear of the tongue.
3. Check to be sure the pull-bar lock located on the pull
bar slide is in storage position as shown in Fig.12.
4. Check to see if you have the required air pressure in
your transport tires for proper inflation see “
