Retract Assembly
163.Attach the double valve bracket to the top of cen-
ter frame tube, with 1/2 x 3 1/32 x 6 u-bolt 1/2 lock
washers and 1/2 nuts.
164.Attach the single valve bracket the same way as
the double bar bracket .
Note: Slide both double and single valve brackets as
close to front of truss plates and as shown in
retract layout in this manual. Route hoses and wir-
ing harness as shown in retract layout in “Opera-
tor’s Manual”. Fasten hoses and wiring harness
with hose clamps and hose wraps, See “Attach
Hose Clamps and Hose wraps” on page 20.
165.Install the double valve to the top of center frame
tube,as shown, secure with 1/4 x 1 3/4 bolts , 1/4
lock washers and 1/4 nuts.
166.Install the single valve to the top of center frame
tube, secure with 1/4 x 2 bolts , 1/4 lock washers
and 1/4 nuts.
167.See “Install Rebound Valve and O-Ring Fittings”
on page 18 for proper fitting installation.
168.Install 3/4 elbow to bottom side, (port 1) of single
valve (turning fitting towards rear of machine).
169.Install straight fittings into port 2,3 & 4 to the dou-
ble valve and port 2 of single valve .
Note: If hoses have been fastened to tees, in cross
locations, remove tees and install cross in
these locations. If not yet installed, refer to hydrau-
lic layout section of “Operator’s Manual” and
hydraulic section of “Parts Manual” for correct
hose location in the first three sides of cross and
hook up rear side of cross as shown below.
170.Attach one end of the 33” hose to rod end fold
cylinder cross and other end to port 2 of the sin-
gle valve .
171.Attach one end of (one of two hoses) 82” hose to
base end fold cylinder cross and other end to port
2 of the double valve .
172.Attach the other 82” hose to port 1 of single valve
and other end to rear end of rear cross (rod
end of slave cylinders).
173.Attach one end of 65” hose to rod end of right
hand master cylinder and the other end to port 3 of
double valve
.
174.Attach one end of 24” hose to rod end of left hand
master cylinder and the other end to port 4 of double
valve
.
175.Tighten fittings and hoses, See “Install Rebound
Valve and O-Ring Fittings” on page 18.
176.Attach the switch bracket to the front side of cross
tube of center frame with 1/2 x 4 1/32 x 4 3/4 u-bolt
, 1/2 lock washers and 1/2 nuts. See retract layout
in “Operator’s Manual” for proper placement of
switch bracket as the 3/4” measurement from left
tube is critical for the system to work correctly.
177.Attach the wisker switch to the back side of the
switch bracket with #10 x 2 PHMS SS bolts, #10
lock washers and #10 nuts.
178.tighten all bolts to specs, See “Torque Values
Chart” on page 37.
179.Now the wiring harness may be routed and
hooked up as shown. The double valve has two (two
wire plugs), the single valve has one (two wire plug)
and the wisker switch has one (three wire plug).
180.See “Connect Wiring Harness” on page 34 for
proper installation of front of wiring harness
