53 Adjustments
Seed-Lok™ Lock Up
Optional Seed-Lok™ firming wheels provide ad-
ditional seed-to-soil contact. The wheels are
spring loaded and do not require adjusting. In
some wet and sticky conditions the wheels may
accumulate soil.
Refer to Figure 78
NOTE: Side gauge wheel and seed meter is re-
moved for clarity.
To lock up Seed-Lok™ wheels, raise drill. Rotate
lock-up handle (1) 90 degrees down on top of
opener body, see insert. Push up on Seed-Lok™
wheel (2) until wheel arm latches up.
Opener disk blades may be sharp. Use caution when
making adjustments in this area.
To unlock Seed-Lok™ wheels, pull up lock-up
handle (1). Seed-lok™ is spring loaded so it will
snap back into place.
