Install Outlet Fittings
Refer to Figure 10
38. Select one each new:
830-127C EL 1MNPT X 1HB POLYPROP
830-145C AD 1 1/2MNPT X 1FNPT POLYPROP
Apply liquid PTFE pipe sealant to the threads of the
elbow
. Thread the elbow into the adaptor ,
finger-tight.
39. Clean any previous sealant or other debris from the
upper (outlet) port of the pump . Apply liquid
PTFE pipe sealant to the threads of the adaptor .
Screw the adaptor into the pump port. Match the ori-
entation of the elbow removed at step 12.
Route Pump Chain
Refer to Figure 11
40. Select one new:
136-272D CHAIN RL #40 136 PITCHES
41. Consult “Chain Setup” on page 8 for chain clip ori-
entation. Route chain around driving sprocket ,
through idlers and around pump driven
sprocket .
42. Adjust idlers for
1 ⁄
2
in slack in forward chain span.
Check Arm Chain Slack
43. Adjust idlers for
3 ⁄
4
in slack on lower span of
arm chain .
Connect Hoses
(not shown)
44. Select two saved:
800-125C CLAMP WRM DRV#28 SS(1.31-2.25)
Place a clamp on each pump hose disconnected at
step 9.
45. Slide the hoses fully on to the new fittings ( , ).
Secure with clamps .
Install Chain Shield
Refer to Figure 12
46. Select one new:
407-474H PUMP DRIVE CHAIN SHIELD WELDMT
and one saved:
817-358C KNOB 3/8-16 MALE THD 2 3/8OD
Hook the front break of the shield into slots in the
mount. Secure at rear with knob screwed into
holes .
