Possible Chemical Hazard:
Wear chemical gloves, apron, boots, goggles and other equip-
ment suitable for exposure to a dilute solution of the fertilizer
last applied. If system was not flushed prior to commencing
work, see DANGER advisory on page 2.

Equipment Damage Risk:
Depending on time and materials pumped, the existing hose
ends (

) may have bonded to the port elbows at the

clamps

. It may not be possible to remove the hoses intact.

Cut hoses. Do not use extreme pulling force in attempts to
remove hoses from fittings. Kit includes replacement fittings.

Be ready for fluid spill. If the hoses can be easily
removed intact, pull them off fittings. If hoses are
bonded, make a clean circular cut just beyond the
clamp

locations, on a side of the clamp away from

the elbow. Remove hose ends from fittings.

10. Below the pump

, remove four sets:

802-022C HHCS 3/8-16X1 1/2 GR5

These fasteners are not re-used.

Pinch / Crush Hazards:
Use a lifter or two workers. The pump weighs 65 pounds and
is likely to be slippery from spilled fluid and lubricating grease
near multiple zerks.

11. Carefully remove and save the pump:

12. Unless these fittings are in excellent condition, note

their current orientations, then remove the inlet and
outlet fittings:

The kit includes replacement identical new fittings.
