Motor and Speed Control Installation

3mm x 25mm socket head cap screw (4)

Aluminum spacer, 5/16-inch (7mm) (4)
3mm x 20mm button head machine screw (4)
Required Tools and Adhesives
Threadlock Hook and loop tape
Hook and loop strap
Phillips screwdriver: #2
Hex wrench or ball driver: 2mm (Power 25) or
2.5mm (Power 15)
Always use threadlock on metal-to-metal fasteners
to prevent them from vibrating loose.
 1. Use a #2 Phillips screwdriver to attach the
X-mount to the motor using the screws provided
with the motor.
 2a. Attach the Power 15 motor to the firewall using
four 14mm spacers, 3mm x 25mm socket head
screws and four 3mm lock washers. Tighten the
screws using a 2.5mm hex wrench or ball driver.
 2b. Attach the Power 25 motor to the firewall using
four 7mm spacers, 3mm x 20mm button head
screws and four 3mm lock washers. Tighten the
screws using a 2mm hex wrench or ball driver.
 3. Route the leads for the motor through the hole in
the firewall.
