Fusion Sequence
Complete Fusion Process
Once Fuser is activated:
• Amber light on Fuser will pulse once per
second as fusion takes place .
• Amber light on Control Unit will pulse
once per second as fusion takes place .
• Buzzer on Control Unit will beep once per
second as fusion takes place .
• Control Unit will display “Fusing!” and
count down time until fusion is complete .
When fusion is complete:
• Amber light on Fuser will pulse rapidly
three times per second; this will repeat
three times for a total of nine pulses and
then return to solid “ready” status .
• Amber light on Control Unit will pulse
rapidly three times per second; this will
repeat three times for a total of nine puls-
es and then return to solid “ready” status .
• Buzzer on Control Unit will beep rapidly
three times per second; this will repeat
three times for a total of nine beeps and
then return to quiet .
• Control Unit display will read “Fusing
Complete!” alternating with “Connection is
Ready When Cool .”
Equipment Setup & Usage Instructions
Uncouple Fuser
• Open Fuser jaws by lifting lever tongue
with thumb . Uncouple Fuser from Fitting .
• Check Fuser’s Fuse-Tel™ indicator. The
indicator button will protrude outward
after a successful fusion .

Note: The “Warning! Reflective Error” warning will also appear if:
• The wrong size Fuser is used with a
Fitting .
• The Fuser jaws are not placed or aligned
correctly on the Fitting's weld zone .
• The Fuser jaws are not completely closed
around the Fitting .
NOTICE
If fusion is interrupted or not
completed successfully:
• Control Unit will automatically abort fusion
process . The Control Unit display will read
“Warning! Reflective Error .”
• Amber light on Fuser and Control Unit will
flash until Fuser is uncoupled from the
Fitting .
• Control Unit will emit an alarm until the
Fuser is uncoupled from the Fitting .
• If fusion sequence was aborted in mid-
sequence, let Fitting cool 15 minutes then
restart fusion process .
