Troubleshooting Minor Faults
If repairs are needed, and assuming
that you cannot eliminate the fault
yourself with the aid the following
table
q Turn the programme selector
toĂOff.
q Disconnect the washing
machine from the power
supply.
q Turn off the tap.
q Call customer service,
seeĂPage 32.

Washing machine door
Without final spin" selected.
Select Drain or Spin.

cannot be opened.
Childproof lock activated.
Deactivate childproof lock, see Page 22.
Power failure.
An interrupted programme will be resumed when the
power returns. If the washing is to be removed during the
power failure, call customer service, see Page 32.
Programme is running and/or washing machine door is
locked for safety reasons.
Wait until the programme ends; see Page 25.
Plug is loose or not plugged in.
Eliminate cause.
Programme selector turned to Off before end of
programme.
Select a programme.
Washing machine door
cannot be opened even
Childproof lock activated.
Deactivate childproof lock, see Page 29.
cannot be opened even
though the appliance has
been switched off and on
again.
The washing machine door is locked for safety reasons
because the water level, the temperature orĂthe speed is
too high.
