3.3 Installation diagram
The following installation diagram shows the capillary connections for a
system with a cation channel and an anion channel and sequential sup-
pression (MSM-HC and MCS):
Anion channel With the upper high pressure pump, the
MSM-HC, the MCS and the left-hand conductiv-
ity detector.
Cation channel With the lower high pressure pump and the
right-hand conductivity detector.
The two channels can be operated in parallel or completely independently
of one another.
Most of the capillaries are already pre-installed at the time the instrument
is delivered. Capillaries on which nothing needs to be done at the time of
initial installation are not numbered in the diagram.
