3 Installation
3.1 About this chapter
The Installation chapter contains

￭ a brief set of instructions for the initial installation of the 850 Professio-
nal IC – AnCat – MSM-HC – MCS (see Chapter 3.2, page 12). At
each step you will find cross-references to more detailed installation
instructions for individual components, should you require such aids.
￭ an installation diagram (see Chapter 3.3, page 16), showing a com-
pletely installed 850 Professional IC – AnCat – MSM-HC – MCS.
￭ several chapters (see chapter 3.4, page 19 and following) with
detailed installation instructions for all components, including those
that are already installed at the time the instrument is delivered.
3.2 Initial installation
Note
A large number of the capillary connections are already connected at
the time the instrument is delivered.
Installing 850 Professional IC – AnCat – MSM-HC – MCS
Note
Perform the steps numbered 3, 4 and 9 for each, the anion and the cat-
ion channel.
