1 Introduction
850 Professional IC Anion MSM-HC HP-Gradient

1.2 Intended use
The 850 Professional IC Anion MSM-HC HP-Gradient is used for the
ion chromatographic determination of anions with a binary high pres-
sure gradient and chemical suppression with the MSM.HC.
If required, the instrument can also be used for the determination of cati-
ons and anions without suppression.
This instrument is suitable for processing chemicals and flammable sam-
ples. The usage of the 850 Professional IC – Anion MSM-HC HP-Gradient
therefore requires that the user has basic knowledge and experience in
the handling of toxic and caustic substances. Knowledge with respect to
the application of the fire prevention measures prescribed for laboratories
is also mandatory.
