Conduit and Tracer Colors
CommScope manufactures conduit and trac-
ers in a variety of colors to meet your specific
requirements. However, please note that the
most common colors are black, orange or
terra cotta. Orange/terra cotta conduit is
recommended for telecommunication conduit
in buried applications. Black is recommend for
applications where the conduit is exposed to
direct sunlight. For other colors see the chart at
right.
Note: Colors other than black do not tolerate
direct sunlight for extended periods of time
and are not recommended for aerial or above
ground installations.
