About This Publication
This publication provides instructions for attaching a Kinetix 2000 cable bracket kit to the
power rail (2093-PRSx). The bracket provides strain relief for the motor power cable, and an
electrical path from the cable shields to machine ground.
Mounting Dimensions for Cable Bracket Kit
WARNING
High voltage can be present on the shields of a power cable, if the shields are not
grounded.
Verify that there is a connection to ground for all shields in the power cable. A signal
wire pair with shield may be contained within the power cable, and its signal shield also
should be grounded through the clamp.
Failure to observe these safety procedures could result in personal injury or damage to
equipment.
