Scope
These installation instructions pertain to the interlock engagement between the
isolating switch interlock lever and operating lever to determine if replacement of
a modified lever is required.
Before beginning the following procedures, refer to Publication 1500-UM055_-EN-P
for safety precautions and general information regarding Bulletin 1500/1900 controllers.

Only personnel who have been trained and understand the
Bulletin 1500 product line are to work on this equipment.
Suitable safety equipment and procedures are to be used at all
times.
This procedure requires contact with medium voltage components.
To avoid shock hazards, lock out incoming power before work-
ing on equipment. Verify with a hot stick or appropriate voltage
measuring device that all circuits are voltage free. Failure to
do so may result in severe burns, injury or death.
Always perform the power lockout procedure before servicing
the equipment. Failure to do so may result in severe burns,
injury or death.
The following procedure requires moving the isolation switch
handle to the ON position. To avoid shock hazards, disconnect
and lock out incoming power before proceeding with servicing
the equipment. Failure to lock out incoming power will result
in a live power cell once the isolation switch handle is in the
ON position and may cause severe burns, injury or death.
