4. Install the heat sink into IGBT and Precharge assembly steel

frame. Tighten the precharge back-up plate to IGBT and
Precharge assembly steel frame screws to 9 N-m (75 in.-lb).
Install the square bus bar removed in step 11, tighten the nuts and
bolts to 28 N-m (240 in.-lb). Install the U-shaped bus bar that was
removed in step 3 and tighten the nuts to 28 N-m (240 in.-lb).
Install the precharge to spine flex bus that was removed in step 4,
and tighten the nuts to 28 N-m (240 in.-lb). Reinstall the four
screws that hold the heat sink guard in place and tighten the nuts
to 3 N-m (26 in.-lb).

5. Re-connect the SCR gate lead and cathode lead connector. This

connector is located in the wire harness between the precharge
board and the SCR.

6. This completes the Diode and SCR test and replacement.

Important: Refer to your Service or Troubleshooting Manual for
IGBT Module test information.

ATTENTION: Replace all guards before applying
power to the drive. Failure to replace guards may result
in death or serious injury.
