MAINTENANCE
DIGITAL FIREPLACE CONTROL REPLACEMENT
BATTERY REPLACEMENT
1) Remove left side (with switch assembly) end panel from unit. 4) Disconnect spark electrode wire.
Disconnect fl ame sensor (red)
Disconnect ground.
Disconnect wire harness.
3) Replace 4 - AA batteries and reverse steps.
5) Remove 4 screws to remove DFC box.
6) Replace with new DFC box and reverse steps 5-1.
2) Remove two screws to remove valve cover panel in locations shown below.
3) Remove two screws to swing down DFC box.

1) Remove left side (with switch assembly) end panel from unit.
2) Pull down battery compartment - located below the DFC panel.
