S&S Fuel Injection is not compatible with E85 fuel. Use of E85 fuel may cause your engine to run poorly and/or damage to system
components.

You must have the following minimum PC specifications to install and run Pro Tune II:

Microsoft® Windows® 2000® , Windows XP®, or Windows Vista™ operating system. Windows 95®, Windows 98®, NT, Windows Me®, or earlier are not

supported.
Pentium® II 450 MHz processor or faster/equivalent. A Pentium® III-1Ghz or faster/equivalent is recommended.

64 MB of system RAM. 128 MB or more is recommended.

200 MB of free hard-drive space.

A desktop resolution of at least 1024 x 768 with thousands of colors (16-bit color) is required. Higher desktop and color resolutions are recommended

for optimum use. A modern graphics system with 3D acceleration and 16 MB or greater on-board RAM is recommended.
A CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drive is required for installation.

A free 9-Pin serial COM port or USB to serial converter is required for communication with the Magneti Marelli® replacement ECU module.

A free USB port is required for communication with the Delphi® replacement ECU module.

A keyboard and mouse are required for this software.

If you are new to the Pro Tune II program, you should load it on a computer, familiarize yourself with the screen and the controls. Learn how to transfer
files to and from the VFI module, and how Calibration Files, Maps and Tables relate to each other. Learn what can and cannot be changed by the
program, and how to make and save changes. All of this is explained in the instructions. Have the Pro Tune II program running on your computer as
you go through the instructions. It is easier to learn the program if you interact with it. For learning purposes, there is a sample Tune-File included.

ATTENTION: Included on this installation CD is a link to our complete Pro Tune II Manual. Please print it out and keep it with you as you
work with the software. A link to the manual can also be found on our website at www.sscycle.com.

About Dynamometers and Pro Tune II
The best way to ensure optimum performance from your VFI system is to do the final tuning on a dynamometer. Also, the dyno must have both an
air/fuel analyzer and be able to apply a load in a steady state to simulate road conditions.

A. VFI Module

The S&S® VFI module (available in Delphi® style and Magneti Marelli® style) directly replaces the stock fuel injection module and works with the
stock sensors and injectors. S&S replacement Delphi style module works with all 2001-’07 Harley-Davidson® Softail® models and 2002-’07 EFI
Touring and Dyna® motorcycles. The Magneti Marelli® style replacement module will work in all 1995-2001 EFI FLs.

B. Pro Tune II Software

The Pro Tune II Software that is included with the S&S VFI module allows the average performance enthusiast to install existing maps and
modify them to optimize the performance of a particular engine. Maps for some of the most common engine and exhaust combinations
are provided on the CD that comes with the module. As additional maps become available from S&S, they may be downloaded from the
S&S website at www.sscycle.com. Once installed, a map may be optimized for the individual engine using a PC and S&S Pro Tune II Software.
Customized maps can be saved and reloaded allowing switch between street and dragstrip tuning quickly and easily.
