C-30HD — COMPENSATING SPRING ASSEMBLY

NOTE: If it is necessary to replace the spring, remove the piston
head assembly which allows the guide weldment to be
removed from the piston rod.
NOTE: Grease the compensator piston rod
daily at both fittings. Failure to grease
regularly may cause the piston rod to
“seize” in the guide tube resulting in
severe pulsations of material in the hose.
