OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
For first use, remove protective insulating film from the batteries. Remove the thumb screw caps
on the PRED9X and insert batteries observing the correct polarity that is marked on the unit. Insert
the battery with the correct terminal pointing toward the polarity marked on the PRED9X. Replace
the thumb screw caps.
NOTE
The thumb screw caps are double sprung to withstand the recoil energy from large calibre
rifles and the cap is under tension. Best fitment is achieved by replacing the cap with your
thumb and maintaining pressure against the springs: once the thread is started the cap can
be tightened firmly.
