Proper location and orientation of cover and valves are mandatory.
Install lid.

Make sure lid is seated properly.
Pull 6 ea. hex. recessed bolts hand-tight diagonally,

thereafter torque to 6 Nm.
Install flexible connection (only ROTAVAC vario control):
Install fitting in hose with box-end spanner (SW 15).
Pull coupling ring right by hand; thereafter make one more
turn with box-end spanner.
Pump does not reach final pressure specified:

After having replaced diaphragm or valves, pump will need several hours until reaching the
pressure specified.
If after having replaced diaphragm or valves, actual values are off nominal, nothing will change by
breed-in.
