Clean and inspect pump heads
Only ROTAVAC vario control:
Use box-end spanner (SW 17) and loosen coupling ring of hose beside gas-ballast valve.
Remove hose fitting from hose with ¼ revolution with box-end spanner (SW 15). Do not remove
fittings from pump head.

Leaks may be found on re-assembly.
ROTAVAC vario control, ROTAVAC vario tec und ROTAVAC valve tec:
Loosen 6 ea. straight hex-recessed screws on pump head and lift off cover ass'y. (cover, internal
part, and lid):

Never attempt to loosen parts with sharp tools
(screwdriver), use rubber hammer or compressed air
instead.
To inspect valves, carefully remove cover from lid. Denote
location of valves and remove.

Replace damaged valves.
Remove contamination with cleaning agent.
Inspect diaphragm for damage and replace on condition.
