Start and discontinue cycle: 
 
start regulation, "A1" appearing in mode display, AUTO 
LED lighted. 
 
Arrow and SET keys are locked; after having found the first boil point, "bP" is displayed. 
 
Having programmed a decrease ramp, time remaining will alternate with "bP" display. At cycle 
end, "End" is displayed, and all valves are closed. 
 
No decrease ramp having been programmed, boil pressure once determined will be controlled until 
the cycle is discontinued with "STOP". 
 
Discontinue regulation, aerate rotary evaporator.
 
After having found a first boil point, you may change to manual operation whenever you want to do 
so. To this end: 
 
depress "Man" key. LED beside "Man" key is flashing.
depressing the "SET" key, "bP" boil point will be saved as 
new nominal value. 
 
 
7.4. Temporary 
mode
 
Independent of program cycle, the user may step into such cycle whenever he wants ("Manual" 
mode), and set a temporary nominal value, which will not be saved as operational parameter.: 
 
 
by briefly hitting an arrow key, the present actual value will be set as 
temporary actual value ("MAN" LED flashing). Such temporary nominal 
value may be edited with the arrow keys. 
 
 
Holding this key depressed, the system will be evacuated at full pumping 
power. Nominal value continuously is governed by present actual 
pressure. 
 
 
Holding this key depressed, the aerating valve is opened 3 times, followed 
by continuous opening. Nominal value continuously is governed by 
present actual pressure. 
 
 
Exit temporary mode with "Man" key; original nominal value is recalled.
