7. VAC control automatic vacuum controller
Power switch is located on the right.
When turning VAC control automatic ON, the right-hand display (Act Vac) shows the unit of
pressure (hPa=mbar) for a few seconds. Thereafter, modes, nominal value and actual value are
displayed (both in mbar).
Start control action with the "Auto" or "Man" keys.
7.1. Configuration
The VAC control automatic comes with the following configuration:
pressure values = mbar (hPa)
manual mode = H1
automatic-parameters = “35“
Edit this basic configuration:
turn item OFF; depress "Auto" key and hold depressed
while turning the item OB again.
the "Act Vac" display first shows the unit chosen. Using the
arrow keys, you may either select "hPa" (mbar) or "Torr".
We recommend to use the “hPa“ (mbar) mode.
depress "Set" key, "H1" is displayed. You may change to
"H2" with the arrow keys. "H1" is the standard regulating
mode. vacuum valve is opened and closed normally. "H2"
is going to open the vacuum valve for a second only; this
way it is easier to maintain nominal values.
Using a switchbox, "H1" is the only operational mode available.
