the airbag should be deactivated. In order to secure permission for deactivating the airbag
you must contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration at 1-800-424-9393 to

Step 3

Install Vehicle Base:

Move passenger seat to furthest back position.

Pop out the trip clip that is on the front part of the trip, located on the outside passenger

Recommended, drill second hole on inboard seat rail due to weight of the equipment on

that rail. Drill a 7/16" hole located 1-1/8" back from the front hole of the inside seat rail on
the passenger seat. Ensure that this hole is alligned with the front hole. (Figure 1 shows side

Slide base under the seat rails and allign the four holes with the PEMs of the base.

Insert and tighten a total of two 3/8" bolts and washers in the rear most holes of the base

Push trim back in place that was moved in step 2. Pop trip clip back in as well.
