The DS-148 is a No Holes Board base that mounts to the passenger side seat
bolts.
WARNING:
The DS-148 is designed to fit in 2002-2005, 2008+ Jeep Liberty vehicles only.
This vehicle base should only be installed if a person never sits in the front
passenger seat and the passenger side air bag is deactivated.
Installing this base into 2006/2007 vehicles will compromise the vehicle airbag
safety system, possibly endangering vehicle occupants.
Seat bolts in 2006/2007 vehicles are tied into the airbag sensor system.
Loosening or removal of seat bolts in 2006/2007 vehicles will require recallibration
by a certified DaimlerChrysler Jeep service technician.
Failure to comply with this warning may lead to serious injury during sudden
braking or accidents.
Installation:
1. Attach the Lower Tube being used, to
the base with hardware supplied.
2. Remove the front two seat bolts that
hold the passenger seat to the floor
and loosen the two rear seat bolts.
3.Place the small tab over the top of the
seat mounting bracket near the
passenger side door. Slide the side of
the base with the pole attached under
the seat mounting bracket near the
center console.
4. Reinstall the two seat bolts to
compress the base and passenger seat
to the floor, tighten two rear seat bolts.
