2.13.2. Private Abbreviated Dialling
Key telephone users may enter additional 112 private dialling options that can
be retrieved from the particular key telephone only.
2.13.3. Brackets/Parentheses in Numbers
You are recommended, in some cases, to earmark a part or the whole of the
dialling with brackets or parentheses to display the calling line identification on your
key system phone.
2.13.3.1.
Square Brackets [ ]
A bracketed number is checked for full match with the incoming number only.
If the incoming number is shorter or longer than the bracketed number, the
bracketed number is ignored.
2.13.3.2.
Parentheses ()
A number enclosed in parentheses is checked only if the incoming number is
shorter than the number length included in the Global data/External
lines/Minimum CLIP length parameter. The number is searched from the back.
If the incoming number is longer than the number length included in the
Global data/External lines/Minimum CLIP length parameter, then the numbers
enclosed in parentheses are not searched.

No Brackets/Parentheses
Numbers that are not enclosed in brackets or parentheses are checked only if
the incoming number is longer than the number length included in the Global
data/External lines/Minimum CLIP length parameter. The number is searched
from the back.
