Hint!
Work with an air cushion in the visible area of the capillary in order to avoid contact
between the oil and the medium.
Hint!
Observe the legal regulations for purity of the oil. The supplied oil is generally used in
the ICSI area to coat drops containing embryos / egg cells or sperm. The supplied oil is
not sterile. Additional instructions can be found in the safety data sheet of the
manufacturer.
Hint!
Aspirating oil with the syringe may lead to the formation of tiny air bubbles. This should
be avoided as these air bubbles may be transferred to the CellTram, which may impair
or slow down the filling process. If the syringe contains air bubbles, these should be
collected by long-term storage. Large air bubbles can be pressed out during filling.
