of Advance Adapter components. We recommend that a service manual pertaining to your vehicle be obtained for specific torque values, wiring diagrams
and other related equipment. These manuals are normally available at automotive dealerships and parts stores.
1991 and 1992 Jeeps
The engine harness connection loom supplied in the kit will need to be soldered into the stock harness.
DO NOT
USE CRIMP CONNECTORS! For 1993-96 applications, the plugs and wires are the same as our sensor. You will
not need to change anything on your stock wire loom, just plug the sensor into your stock harness. If your Jeep is
a 1991-92, your wiring and plug will be different than the new sensor. Before cutting the stock plug from the factory
harness, please verify the factory color codes to the diagrams in the instruction sheet.
When connecting the loom to the factory harness DO NOT USE CRIMP CONNECTORS, THE WIRES
MUST BE SOLDERED. Refer to the picture below and splice together.
