manual pertaining to your vehicle be obtained for specific torque values, wiring diagrams and other related equipment. These manuals are normally available at automotive dealerships
and parts stores.
ORIGINAL BRACKET: Depending on exact engine
location, this bracket may need to be spaced away
from the firewall up to 1-1/2" and can be moved inward
towards new engine for proper clutch tube spacing
over ball pivots. This varies depending on engine
position. No spacing should be required with engines
offset 1/2" towards driver's side.

Some variations will occur on different
bellhousings requiring shimming with 3/8"
standard flat washers.

new V8 clutch installation.

levers will not work.
Original clutch tube. It must be trapped between the
pivot point so that the original spring clips can be used.
The new mounting plate bolts to the engine block using one 1/2"-13 X 2-1/2" LONG bolt
and lock washer. Multiple tapped holes permit various centerline locations on vehicles
1973-87. The position varies with the transmission being used or model of original
transmission being replace.
