Front of Recorder

B STANDBY/ON
- switches the Recorder On or to standby mode (off)

DIGITAL

Standby indicator
- lights red when the Recorder is in standby mode; player is not operable
- lights green when the Recorder is operable

PANEL
- press to open and close the door that cover additional buttons and jack on the
front of the Recorder

DISPLAY
- displays the current status of the Recorder

OPEN/CLOSE

- opens/closes the disc tray

STOP

- stops disc playback or recording

PLAY

- starts disc play

RECORD

- recording of the selected channel

or source

*SEARCH

- Q search backward during disc playback

- R search forwardduring disc playback

*AUTO/MAN REC VOLUME

- to adjust the recording volume

level automatically or manually

*MANUAL

- 3 4 to increase/decrease the

recording volume level

*CHANNEL

- to select TV channels manually

When the Recorder is in Tuner mode.

*TITLE

- J selects previous title

/chapter/track/index or beginning of

current title/chapter/track/index

- K selects next title/

chapter/track/index

*AUDIO In (Left/Right)
- Audio left/right input jack to
connect a camcorder or video
Recorder

*VIDEO In (CVBS)
- Video input jack to connect a
camcorder or video Recorder

*S-VIDEO In
- Video input jack to connect a
camcorder or video Recorder

*DV
- Audio/Video input jack to connect a digital
camcorder

*DV-indicator
- Lights red when the DV input is active

* Located behind panel, press the panel button for access.
