Tips and Tricks
Tip! Purchase a separate memory card to fully utilize the
available memory of your Nokia E62.
Tip! Press and hold the call key ( ) to display a list of last
numbers dialed.
Tip! Press and hold the Menu key ( ) to display a list of open
applications.
Tip! Press the blue function key ( ) twice to lock the key
and enter only characters printed at the top of the keys.
Press again to release it.
Tip! To enter accent marks on letters, press and hold the Chr
key ( ), and then press the letter key repeatedly until
the special character appears.
Tip! Press the shift key ( ) twice to turn on caps lock and
enter only capital letters. Press again to release it.
Tip! To lock your keyboard, press and release the left selection
key ( ) then press the function key ( ). To
unlock, press and release the left selection key ( )
and then press the function key ( ) again.
Tip! To dial a number that contains letters (such as 1-866-
CINGULAR), hold down the Chr key ( ) while pressing
the letter keys. Press the call key ( ) to make a call.
Tip! To reset your voicemail password, dial *611 from your
Cingular phone and follow the instructions.
Tip! To customize your MEdia Net Homepage, open MEdia Net
and click the EDIT link in the top right corner of the page.
Here you can select the categories you would like to have
on your personal MEdia Net Homepage.
Tip! To activate Bluetooth, press the blue function key ( )
and the Ctrl key ( ) simultaneously. To deactivate,
press the blue function key and the Ctrl key again.
