Parts and Materials
Toshiba will, at its option, repair or replace any defective products or parts
thereof covered by this Limited Warranty with new or factory refurbished
parts or products that are equal to new products in performance. All
products or components replaced under this warranty shall become
property of Toshiba.
Any product or part that has been repaired or replaced under this Limited
Warranty shall be covered for the remainder of the original warranty period
applying to the product or part, or for three months from the date of
replacement, whichever is longer.
Warranty repair services involving language based aspects of your product
(e.g. keyboards, software) may not be capable of being performed in
another language than the primary language used in the country where the
service request is made.
Accessories and digital products such as connectivity items, external hard
drives or cameras are excluded from the Toshiba warranty, but may fall
under separate regulations. For more information, please refer to the
documentation provided with your Toshiba accessory or digital product.
Non-Toshiba peripherals such as printers, scanners etc. and consumables
such as disks, etc., are excluded from the Toshiba warranty scheme, but
may be covered under separate arrangements - please ask your Toshiba
Authorised Reseller or Toshiba Authorised Service Provider for details. This
means that, if your product develops a fault, you can rely on the Toshiba
Authorised Reseller from whom you purchased the equipment to provide
any support needed (there may be a charge) and to carry out repairs or
organise a replacement if applicable.
Toshiba may service Customer Replaceable Units such as AC Adapter to
end-user by shipment. Upon receipt by the end-user of the replacement part,
the original part becomes the property of Toshiba. If requested by Toshiba,
the original part should be returned to Toshiba at Toshiba’s expense. In the
event that the original part is not received by Toshiba within fifteen (15)
working days following end-user’s receipt of the shipment instructions,
end-user will be charged the retail value of the replacement part.
If the product is not in good working order as warranted, the sole and
exclusive remedy shall be repair or replacement. The decision between
repair and replacement is reserved to Toshiba.
The warranty of the whole product will be void in case of replacement of
any Toshiba product or accessory by another non-Toshiba product or
accessory.
Software Warranty
Toshiba supplies no warranty, either expressed or implied, for any
pre-installed software, its quality, performance, merchantability, or fitness
for a particular purpose. Nor does Toshiba warrant that the functions
contained in the software will meet your requirements or that the operation
