Our Support Center Agents and Authorised Service Providers have been
trained and certified to diagnose any hardware problem and propose you
the fastest way to repair your Toshiba product. To help them identify the
problem and the replacement parts in the most efficient way, please be
ready to provide the following information:

Product name and model number
■
Serial number
■
Hardware and software configuration
■
A description of the failure you have encountered
■
All error messages and other messages that might appear on the
screen
Should the Toshiba Support Centre isolate hardware malfunctions on your
product, you will be provided with an identification number and service
instructions by the most convenient means (e.g. fax, email, voice).
In case of Carry-in warranty service all items identified by the Support
Centre need to be shipped in suitable packaging to the service centre
accordingly. Please take or send the product to your Toshiba Authorised
Service Provider and arrange for its collection or delivery on completion of
repair. Please include the battery, power cord and adapter with your
product when returning it to your Service Provider. If you decide to ship the
product by courier please make sure it is adequately packaged and
comprehensively insured for both the delivery and collection of the product
as neither Toshiba, nor the company offering the service on our behalf,
have any liability for damage in transit.
If you are entitled for Pick-up & Return service, the Toshiba Support Centre
will arrange that your product will be collected from you at an agreed time
and place. Following repair, your product will be returned to you at the
earliest opportunity.
Toshiba, its Authorised Resellers and Service Providers reserve the right to
request a proof of purchase (e.g. paid and dated invoice from the
Authorised Reseller) stating model and serial number before accepting any
warranty claim. Claims under this Limited Warranty will only be honoured if
made within the warranty period.
Toshiba is not liable for any transport/delivery/insurance costs, import
duties, taxes, licensing fees and any charges from telephone/fax
communication as consequence of the failure of the product. You will be
required to deliver your Toshiba product including battery, power cord and
AC adapter to a Toshiba Authorised Service Provider for warranty repair
and arrange for its collection on completion of repair. You must prepay any
shipping charges, taxes, or duties associated with transportation of the
product to and from the Toshiba Authorised Service Provider. In addition,
you are responsible for insuring the product both for delivery and collection
as neither Toshiba nor the company offering warranty service on Toshiba’s
behalf, have any liability for damage or loss in transit.
