Menu operation keys
Use the following keys on the remote control to operate
the menu. For detailed menu operations, see appropri-
ate pages that describe individual functions.
HOME MENU: Press to open or close the Home
menu.
/ : Press to select a menu item. For
some menu items, you can select
parameters using these keys.
/ : Press to select a parameter or adjust-
ment level for menu items.
ENTER: Press to proceed to lower menu
levels. For some menu items, you
need to press this key to complete
selections.
RETURN: Press to return to upper menu levels.
Setting up TV channels automatically
This section describes how to automatically search and
set up TV channels.
Using Auto Installation
When the Plasma Display System is switched on for
the first time after purchase, the initial auto installation
is initiated. You can automatically set language, coun-
try and channels in successive operations.
1 Press / to select “Language”, and then press
/ to select a language.

• You can select from among 12 languages;
English, German, French, Italian, Spanish,
Dutch, Swedish, Portuguese, Greek, Finnish,
Russian, and Turkish.
2 Press / to select “Country”, and then press
/ to select your country.
3 Press / to select “Start”, and then press
ENTER.
• Auto Installation automatically starts.
• To quit Auto Installation in progress, press
RETURN.
4 After Auto Installation has been finished, press
HOME MENU to exit the menu.
• You can start Auto Installation from the Home menu
after moving to another country, for example. Before
doing steps 1 to 4 above, do the following steps 1 to 3.
1 Press HOME MENU.
2 Press / to select “Setup”, and then press
ENTER.
3 Press / to select “Auto Installation”, and then
press ENTER.
• The password entry screen appears. Enter your
4-digit password using buttons 0 – 9.
• If no channel is found, check the antenna connec-
tions, and then retry Auto Installation.
