Text Language
You can change the language for reading out
the text files stored in the [TEXT] folder.

From the [Home] menu display
select [Audiobooks], and then
press the
`OK or 9 button.
• When [Accessibility] (
☞ P.76) is set to
[On], select [Text Speech].

In the Book list display, press the
F3 (MENU) button.
• When [Accessibility] is set to [On],
press the F3 (Menu) button in the file
display.

Press the + or − button to select
[Book Menu], and then press the
`OK or 9 button.
• When [Accessibility] is set to [On],
select [Text Speech Menu].

Press the + or − button to select
[Text Language], and then press
the
`OK or 9 button.

Notes
• When the [LCD/Sound Menu] – [Voice
Guide] setting (
☞ P.89) is set to [On], the
[Text Language] setting cannot be changed.
Set the [Voice Guide] setting to [Off], and
then specify the [Text Language] setting.
• When the [Voice Guide] setting (
☞ P.89)
is [On], the language for reading out text
files will be the same as that set for the
voice guidance in [Text Language].
