Using voice commands

While the recorder is paused at
the [Home] menu display, press
the VOICE button and say a voice
command word.
• Voice commands cannot be used
when [Recorder] mode is running or
during an operation.

*1 When [Accessibility] (
☞ P.76) is set to
[On], these voice commands can not be
used.

Transition to
each mode
Except for recorder mode,
say the name of the mode
you want to launch to jump
to that mode.
Example: When jumping to
[Music] mode
The mode changes to
[Music] mode.
Using voice recognition (For DM-5)
Notes
• Voice recognition is difficult in
environments with a lot of ambient noise.
Use this function in quiet environments.
• The recognition rate may be affected by
the pronunciation or tone of the speaker.
Speak clearly and slowly.
Music
