DIGITAL ZOOM – Using the digital zoom

In the top menu, select MODE
MENU Æ CAMERA Æ DIGITAL
ZOOM Æ ON, and press
e.

• Press e again to exit the menu and
display the subject on the monitor.

Pull the zoom lever toward T.
• The white area of the zoom indicator
indicates the optical zoom. If the digital
zoom is set to ON, a red area appears on
the zoom indicator. When you reach the
limit of the optical zoom, the digital zoom
is enabled.
• Pictures taken with the digital zoom may appear grainy.
• The digital zoom cannot be used when you turn the monitor off. The
digital zoom can be used when you turn the monitor on.
